I love these opal matrix necklaces because of their individual personalities. Each one is one of a kind and the texture of the golden bezel is as if the stone was dripped on by the hot wax of a candle. The opals are all different, the one pictured above is engraved with the word "Glow" on the back. Others pieces range from witty to serious. I love them all.
The Tree Pose Necklace is a beautiful necklace that sparkles from within. Tiny faceted stones jingle from the inside and the word "tree pose" is carved into the gold, with an image of a tree with a diamond on the other side. This necklace is such a tiny treasure and those who love detail, subtle sparkle, various textures and hidden words will love this piece.
I also wear my Willow Earrings all the time. They are great earrings to dress up or wear daily, and the tiny accent diamond is a nice touch. I like the saying on the back, which reminds me to be flexible - its something my grandmother always says, "Be a willow, not an oak. Willows bend, oaks break." The earrings are available in two sizes, Medium, which is great for every day wear, and Large, which is a great size if you are looking for a larger statement earring.
The Tree Pose Necklace is another one of my loves. One side depicts a carved tree with a tiny diamond and the other side is carved to say "tree pose." Inside the 1/2 tall pendant are faceted London blue topaz, sky blue topaz, and rhodolite garnet that rattle around. The colors will sparkle and catch your eye, and its so fun to wear.
These Earrings are Fabulous! I've been wearing mine almost every day, and they are a great size (drop is about 1 1/4 inch tall) which means you can wear them with just about anything. They are sterling silver with 14k gold overlay, often called vermeil, which is then satin-finished for a smooth shine. There is a tiny diamond set in each earring, which adds a nice sparkle, and the earrings have a tiny line texture, which makes them just sparkle. And the best part? There is a tiny saying engraved on the back - its something my grandmother always tells me - "Be a willow, not an oak. Willows bend, oaks break." Sophie is my 3 year old cavalier king charles spaniel. Her ears are rather long and I came up with the idea of a stemmed glass to keep her ears from getting wet when she drinks. I found some plastic ones that look like crystal that won't break if knocked over. Solution found: no more wet ears and they are the perfect height so she doesn't have to bend over to drink. My creative approach never fails to draw attention and comments from guests regarding my dog's sense of style when it comes to drinking and dining, but I swear it is the most sensible alternative, and I love it when function and pleasing aesthetics combine.
